New beginnings

When thinking of a new beginning, my favorite country Austria comes to my mind. It is where I learn the most about Life...:

When climbing, do it slowly and always take a challenge.

When playing, use your imagination and have fun (with friends, if possible)!

When walking, always stop for the beautiful views and never forget that there can be snow in the summer too.

When in need to wash your soul, become calm as water on a lake.

When you get tired, rest, take a deep breath and let the nature heal you.

When you need a break, just do it (your way)!

When you need inspiration, look around and notice all the details.

When looking for a place to live, find a key where you feel at home and welcomed.

When grey days put you down, bring some colors in your life!

When you need some wisdom, travel into the ancient history.

And when you don't know where to begin, just open your eyes and jump!

Happy new beginnings, everybody!

Sleeping Beauty

No, I was not lost in the old town, mentioned in my last post...

And I didn't fall asleep for tousand years like Sleeping Beauty...

I'm still here, I'm still alive.

Finally I can say we're back on the ground and in our home with floor & doors. Finally we feel at home... after all the workers packed their bags and left us alone. A good feeling indeed.

Now it's finally time for designing our living space. And time for my blog again, and for your blogs, of course, and... if I manage to put all my things from the boxes soon, it will be finally time for creative stuff.

(Sleeping beauty)

Happy creating, everyone!

Someone

Sometimes you feel different. Sometimes you feel alone. Sometimes nobody understands you and sometimes you don't understand the rest of the world.

Sometimes people tell you who you are, but you're thinking: 'Where did they get this idea of me? This is not who I am!'

Only you really know who you are. Maybe there is a shadow over your heart and you don't see the answer in your heart clearly, but it is there, waiting for you, anytime you're ready to dig deep.

Some people can dig deep by themselves, some people need help. I'm lucky to help some people to get the answers via art therapy techniques. Digging deep can be like being born again, like a blooming tree or growing seeds. It is scary and exciting, painful and joyful. It is extraordinary!

Today, I'd like to remind you that you ARE somebody! You are extraordinary, unique, one of a kind person on this planet! Nobody should tell you you're not good enough! They don't know your path, they don't know who you are and why you are who you are. Only YOU can tell and only YOU can walk away from the people and places who are not aligned with you! You are YOU!

There are people out there who want you to be you! Give them a hand and you can dance together and jump high in the air with them. Isn't that a wonderful way to use your energy? I say it is!!

So, today, I'm giving my hand to one of the soulful sisters Elizabeth Gonzales. She is spreading her love and inspiration with her smile and works, so she is a perfect 'someone' to hang out with and to jump in the air with her. What about yours - who is one of your 'someone'?

Flying or not?

That is a question...

Do you know the feeling when your dreams and wishes are soooo big that they lift you up from the ground and make you want to (just) fly? But you're afraid to do that, because you're not sure if you're ready to leave the nest. You're afraid you will fall down flat the moment you jump. You're afraid if you're old enough. You're not sure what kind of enemies are waiting for you out there.

Yes, these are the days for me lately. Haven't jumped yet. Those big ideas are scary. They are so big that I think they're going to squash me. So, I'm being cautious. Trying to check the ground, have my eyes and ears open, trying to keep my inner Self calm and inspired.

It's hard. There are many distractions out there that keep me away from focusing. It's hard to carry most of the burden yourself. It's hard. It's hard to let it go and fly...

(from my old album)

I spent some days with mySelf. I guess you've noticed, eh? Sometimes I just need to listen to the silence and talk with a brush and paint. Deep inside I was getting ready to say goodbye, say goodbye to the old and prepare myself for a new journey. I didn't start travelling yet, I'm still in the packing phase. I have to be careful to not take too many bags with me if I want to fly. I don't want to fall.

There are still some flying instructions waiting for me in the next weeks. I'll work hard to learn. So, if you won't hear from me here from time to time, you will know I'm practicing and exercising for the perfect jump!

Enjoy, whatever you're working on, too!

PS: As some of you may have heard, Google will not allow 'Friend Connect' on no-google-blogs anymore. Well, when I moved my Slovene and English blog here, I 'lost' many followers (over 100), so I don't really have much to say about this. I'm just tired of things like that. Too many times I asked people to follow my blog this way or that way... I won't give rewards to get you to sign to my blog. You will just make me happy. If I'm happy, then I spread my happiness around... (Read more about this in one of my previous posts here). So, if you want, you can now sign in and follow me via Networked Blogs or Linky Followers (see the sidebar), but I will have to remove Google Friends this week. Thanks and thank you for your understanding.

If you noticed

I can get inspired by so many things: architecture, people, nature, great books or quotes, etc, etc. I like details and I like things as a whole. My imagination gets busy by exploring small things or big things. The only thing that doesn't inspire me is negative, destructive. It soaks my energy away and then I get blank.

This is a house I see on my way to work every day. It hardly stands on its 'feet', but there's something about it that makes me look at it whenever I pass by. I still didn't figure it out what is it about it... So I watch it every day - I just can't resist...

Do you do something like that too?

This is my contribution for Luzia Pimpinella's blog project: 'Beauty is where you find it'. This week's theme is: 'On my wayside' (#5/2012).

If you noticed, I mostly post on this blog the things I created or took pictures of. It is my vision of the things I see, feel, explore in this wonderful World. But I do get inspired by other works, artists, creative people, great personalities... If you want to see who or what inspires me, head over to my CreatissimoLab Facebook Page for (almost daily) bites and pieces of creative inspiration for you, for me, for them... (If you haven't noticed that already...).

See you here, see you there! Have an inspiring day!
