When you're welcome

Today, let's jump from the busy school days and my 'story' from France to my favorite travel destination: Austria. I went there in August (as usually every summer) and as it always enlightens all the month with joy, excitement, refreshment, I chose an image from this holiday for the Photo-Heart connection project for August.

I took many pictures there, but when going through all my images, this image jumped out with a warm massage of welcoming, and that's exactly how I feel every time I go there.

'Tables' are set, waiting for you. You feel a warm welcome, like you came home from a long journey. Everybody is waiting just for you, waiting to serve you and make you feel special. You have just the right amount of privacy and just the right amount of attention. Because of that feeling I keep coming back every year. (Check out some of my previous posts from there - like: 'Plans', 'Neighbour - part 1, 'Don't mess with school', etc.). I didn't feel this way when I was in France, neither in some other countries, like UK or Italy... Austria really makes my heart jump :)!

These pictures were taken in an old castle, where I went to see a special performance about the old days...

It was wonderful and funny!

And the castle could become one of the scenes for some horror movies, don't you think??

Now, off I go to check other Photo-Heart connections of the month August... Will you join me?

I wish you were there...

...with me...

where you could hear the pebbles sing...

where you could caress the Ocean and walk out of a view...

and where you could take 1001 pictures and never have got bored of the beautiful views.

That's how I'll remember month July - being there, thinking of you and wishing you were there...

The first image in this post reminds me the most of that atmosphere there, so I chose it for the Photo-Heart connection project for July.

Can you imagine us there?

Waiting

Waiting and waiting...

  • that we get floor under our feet (yes, we're still waiting for our construction workers)...
  • that we start to be creative again in our (soon-to-be) renovated creative corner...
  • that we take a break from bureaucracy...
  • that we get some information, what's going to happen next month and after that...
  • that we finally get what we've earned...
  • that we have time for fresh air...
  • that our strawberries turn from green to red...

Lots of words are stuck somewhere in the air, lots of energy is wasted. I wish we wouldn't have to rely on the others and I wish that the number of words said would be equal to the number of acts. Let's wait a bit more, a bit more...

And when I'll get all the answers, you will not have to wait for me anymore!

This is my (painful) part for the Photo-Heart conection project in May. I've found an image that goes well with my thoughts. I'm still waiting... You?

Border-line

I was at border-line. Well, luckily I was not at the 'border-line' of my nerves ;), but at the border-line from a map. It was wonderful, relaxing - it's really good to change the environment from time to time... And doing so, we sometimes have to cross our own 'borders' and sometimes not.

What is a border-line anyway? I was there, but I didn't see it. What I saw were blurred pictures in the water only.

Someone once said: 'Borders are only in people's heads'. Sometimes they are clear, sometimes, blurred. Sometimes real, sometimes imaginary. Sometimes standing up, sometimes turned upside down. Sometimes they are high, sometimes low.

Month April was a month of testing my own boundaries. That's why I decided to choose this picture for Photo-Heart Connection, which symbolises the trail, left from testing the limitations. Things, standing up and things turned upside down, obstacles on the way, time flowing away, but some first signs of spring too...

Yes, it's true, I was at border-line.

And how long were your border-lines these days?
